Brief product description:

The MIMICS Hedge Funds System consists of two integrated systems. One manages the portfolio of securities within the fund while the other tracks the fund ownership of the partners. The portfolio management portion of the systems handles fixed income securities, equities, derivatives, and trading on margin. The system accounts for portfolio income, expenses, and fees. The partner portion of the system manages the positions of the partners and their value. Confirmations of transactions are printed as well as statements, K-1s, and any other forms desired. Imports and exports are included. Accounting rules can be set up by the user to account for any transaction in the system any way desired. A full set of portfolio and customer reports are available. Status screens are available for instantaneously looking up the status of either the fund portfolio or the customer positions and transactions. Multiple funds are accommodated. The system includes General Ledger accounting reports such as journals, ledgers, P&Ls, and Balance Sheets.
